Library Virtual Reference Assistant

Ask LViRA is a Facebook-based library chat service. LViRA stands for Library Virtual Reference Assistant, which the library uses as an avatar to provide a virtual assistant or persona which patrons can communicate with.

Also, majority of our users have a Facebook account, and it is easier for them to send a message through Facebook Messenger thus, Facebook was chosen as the platform for this service.

Clients can message the Surigao Education Center Library's Facebook page to ASK LViRA for your queries, library assistance and other matters. Just Check out the chatbox on the lower right side.

LViRA’s Schedule: LViRA is available to chat from Mondays to Fridays, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, and every Saturdays 8:00 AM to 12:00 PM except for Sundays and Holidays. Questions and requests sent on Sundays or h olidays will be catered on the next working day.
